Summit Tutoring (“we,” “I”) provides online AP Calculus AB coaching. Most of the people we work with are high-school students, so we collect as little as we need, never sell it, and let parents see and control their student’s information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

We don’t use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and we don’t sell or rent personal information.

How we use it

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that run the business, and only what each one needs:

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect someone’s safety.

Students and minors

Our services are intended for high-school students with a parent or guardian involved. For students under 18, a parent or guardian approves the account, and parent accounts can see their student’s progress. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent; if we learn we have, we delete it. Parents can review, correct, or delete their student’s information at any time by emailing hello@mail.summit-tutors.com.

Testimonials

We share a student’s or family’s feedback publicly only with a parent’s permission, using first name and last initial unless you agree to more. Feedback from families who received a free scholarship is always labeled as such.

How long we keep it

Inquiry and Readiness Check information is kept while it’s useful for following up, and deleted on request. Account and coursework information is kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward so families can refer back to it. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

Security

Access to student information is restricted by role — students see their own work, parents see their own children’s, and answer keys are never sent to students’ browsers. No system is perfectly secure, but we use encrypted connections and reputable providers, and we’ll notify affected families promptly if something goes wrong.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above, and email account holders about significant changes.
